Read the fee before using it

  • Match nationality, residence and age to the stated visitor category.
  • Check whether the unit is a day, rolling entry period, night, vehicle, group or activity.
  • Use the stated source period; a check date does not extend an old tariff.
  • Keep native currencies and stated tax treatment; obtain the actual payable breakdown.
  • Confirm which permit or package already includes entry, guides or other charges.

What park fees include, park fees for families and primate permit costs explain the common questions.

A few things worth knowing

Good questions.
Straight answers.

The details matter. Bring anything else into your planning conversation.

Where can I find a particular park’s fee?

Choose one of the six destination references or use the park list. Detailed guides show published categories, ages, entry periods, additional charges and source links. Areas with unresolved current amounts are identified in their destination guide.

Are park fees the same as gorilla or chimpanzee permits?

No. An activity permit can have its own age limit, date and inclusions. Some include ordinary admission and a guide; others require entry as an additional charge.

Does a safari quotation always include park fees?

Check the written inclusions. Ask for each park, activity, conservancy, concession, vehicle and guide charge to be identified for the actual route.

Are all published amounts confirmed for my travel dates?

No. Each guide distinguishes dated current records, undated published references, historical sources and unresolved amounts. Confirm the applicable schedule before payment.
