Do I need 4x4 experience?
Some off-tarmac confidence helps. We match the route to your experience and brief you fully before you set off.
Is self-driving safe in Kenya?
With the right vehicle, a planned route and 24-hour support, yes. We design around safety as much as freedom.
Can part of the journey be guided?
Yes. The same routes can run fully guided or as a mix, so you can drive some days and be guided on others.
Can I drive into Tanzania too?
Yes, on routes we design for it. Tanzania is wilder and more remote, so we suggest it once you have some self-drive experience. We handle the border paperwork.
