An incredible safari experience
“Our safari with Dream Africa Tours was amazing! There was good communication throughout, though there was one miscommunication with our pick up time at the start which we didn't discuss beforehand. I liked the balance of game drives vs. having time to relax and wind down at the accommodations (which were also incredible), though if I had one negative it would be that the itinerary wasn't followed exactly. Logistically, it wasn't possible some days to do a morning or evening game drive because of the length of time it takes to get from one place to another, which is fine, but it would have been better to set our expectations beforehand. Our driver Jo was great, and went to great lengths to make sure we saw some amazing things, including a lion stalking and taking down a zebra - an absolutely unforgettable moment. I would definitely recommend Dream Africa Tours!”

Wonderful 4 night safari to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru
“We booked 3 nights at Losokwan tented camp in the Lemek conservancy (Masai Mara) then one night at Lake Nakuru Lodge in Nakuru NP.
The drive from Nairobi is 5 hours which seems daunting but is an experience in itself and flies by - it is a good way to see some of the country and the alternative is to fly in to an airstrip in the parks which seems a shame to miss seeing Kenya.
The three nights at Losokwan were really luxurious with attentive staff, lovely tents and great food plus the Lemek conservancy was probably our best place for spotting game. It is a small camp (6 tents) and felt exclusive, animals can wander through at any time so you have full immersion in nature (staff escort you to and from your tent). When you leave Lemek to get to the start of the Masai Mara NP it is a long-ish drive along a bad road but that is more than made up for by the Lemek conservancy where we saw 3 generations of lions eating a kill, 2 leopards, elephant, hippos, hyena, jackals, wildebeest and so much other game. (In the conservancy, we could go off the tracks and get closer to the animals which is not allowed inside the NPs)
Inside the MM NP we saw lots of amazing game such as cheetah, hippo, buffalo and antelope.
Lake Nakuru Lodge was a much larger hotel inside the NP which makes for a less intimate feeling but you have more facilities and we liked it. (Gift shop very reasonably priced btw) We were given rooms with lovely view over the park and lake; make sure you request those. Buffets varied and catered for all tastes. Here we could drive immediately into the park and we saw rhino, leopard, Rothschild giraffe, water buck, fish eagle and flamingos. It was breathtaking.
We chose a pop-up minivan instead of a jeep which has advantages and disadvantages; the minivans are more comfortable and you can stand up and be higher up than in a jeep but the minivan is slower on bad roads and you get shaken around more. Take warm clothes for the early morning starts in August plus decent binos and cameras.
Imelda at the Dream Africa's office was very helpful and communicative both before and during our trip eg with dietary requirements (veggie and gluten free were no problem), room requests etc.
Our guide Mo was just perfect, he made the trip for us and is such a nice guy. He found all the game, he was very well informed on all the birds, trees and animals and looked after us perfectly. He is super competent but very relaxed and he still gets excited when he finds leopards and cheetah.
We would highly recommend Dream Africa and especially Mo to anyone.”

We did a 5 days, 4 nights safari to the Masai Mara and we highly recommend this Dream Africa Tours. The safari itself was just amazing. We saw all the big 5 and many more wonderful animals.
Our guide, Antony, was great. Antony always had a good attitude, arrived on time and is a very good driver (including on off-roads trips). Antony was also very respectful to the animals and obeyed to the strict rules of the Mara Conservancy.
The company was also very flexible and responsive. Our original international flight was canceled, so we missed our domestic flight to the Masai Mara. The company quickly and seamlessly arranged for us a perfect alternative flight (with no extra charge) and made sure we make it to the flight. This really saved our day.
As many other reviewers wrote, the visit to the Maasai village was super-touristic, but that’s not the fault of the company.
We stayed at the Losokwan Luxury Camp, which is perfectly located just in the middle of the Mara north. We stayed there 4 nights and in every game-drive we saw something different (so I suggest staying at least 3 nights there, and potentially even longer, time permitting).
Overall, there are so many tour operators and it’s hard to choose one company. After spending hours on reading reviews, we chose Dream Africa Tours and we had high expectations. They exceeded all the expectations (and for a reasonable price compared to other operators).”

Amazing Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari
“Imelda did such a great job of organizing our Kenyan Safari for us that we asked her to organize one in Tanzania as well. She prepared a 5 day, 4 night custom, private tour with 2 nights at Serena Serengeti and 2 nights at Serena Ngorongoro and it was wonderful. Jojo with Shidolya tours was our guide and driver and he was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. He was amazing at finding animals. We saw a mother cheetah with 2 babies, 4 Leopards, many Lions including 2 sets with Cubs, elephants, jackets, hyenas, giraffes, buffalo, hippo, zebra and so many birds. The lodges were both lovely. Both rooms were nice and had balconies, the views at Ngorongoro were amazing. The food was good at both places with vegetarian options for us. The people were friendly and helpful. Everything went as planned with no problems. On the last day Jojo dropped us off and helped us catch a bus to Kondoa. We would highly recommend Dream Africa Tours, Shidolya tours, Imelda and Jojo.”

“We did a great custom private Safari for 2 with Dream Africa tours to Meru, Nakuru and Masai Mara. Imelda was very helpful in organizing and planning the Safari to meet or requests. She was very responsive to our questions and everything went exactly as planned with no issues. She made some excellent suggestions for things to do and places to stay.
The 2 nights in Meru at Ikweta Safari Camp were very quiet and peaceful with very personalized service. There were very few people there and not as many animals, but we still saw rhino, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, water buck, crocodile, hippo and many more. The 1 night at Nakuru Sopa Lodge was lovely, our room had beautiful floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the lake. We managed to see lion, rhino, hyena, giraffe, hippo and many birds and animals. The 3 nights at Mara sopa lodge were fantastic for seeing animals. Our guide James was really in his element and we saw so many Lions as well as leopards, cheetah, hyena, elephants, jackal and many more.
We are vegetarian and all the places had good vegetarian food options for us as well. The service was excellent at all the lodges. The price for the custom, private Safari was very reasonable in comparison to the others we looked at.”

“I went on this trip with my wife. People from Dream Africa Tours were amazing. I was in contact with Imelda whole time before the safari trip, and she helped us a lot with all information we needed to know before our trip and while we were on a trip. She was available 24/7 for all questions and doubts we had, and we're thankful for that.
Our driver Reuben was fantastic. He was very useful and friendly. He found every animal we could possibly find in both national parks and got us as close as we could get to them (few meters away).
We are thankful to both of them for the whole experience. The trip is worth every dollar we paid.
Now, our trip:
Day 1: Our driver Reuben picked us at our hotel in Nairobi, and we proceeded to Lake Nakuru. We came to Lake Nakuru Lodge, had lunch and a quick rest. In the afternoon, we went on an evening game drive in Lake Nakuru. We saw giraffes, buffaloes, rhinos, zebras, antelopes, baboons, flamingos, pelicans. After, we went back to the lodge for dinner.
Day 2: After breakfast, we proceeded to Masai Mara national park. Unfortunately, that day we weren't able to go on a morning nor evening game drive because we had food poisoning.
Day 3: We had breakfast and went on a whole day game drive. It was amazing to see so many wild animals that were migrating from Serengeti park. We saw lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, antelope (all kinds), hyenas, warthogs, ostriches, emus, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippos, crocodiles, markets, baboons. It was a nice experience to have lunch in the wild surrounded with zebras. We finished the day with dinner.
Day 4: Day 4 was the end of our trip. On our way back to Nairobi, we stopped in Masai village. They greeted us with dance and songs. They informed us about their history and culture and showed us how they live.”
