- Official sources conflict on the shilling cycling levy: KES 300 in the KWS leaflet and KES 3,000 in Legal Notice 160 of 2025. No resolved payable amount is assumed here.
Who pays, and for how long
- Daily fee: single access, valid no longer than 24 hours. Not a promise of multiple re-entry or unrestricted 24-hour operating hours.
- No seasonal split is printed for these parks in this schedule. A source check does not establish that an undated tariff remains unchanged for every future visit.
- KWS defines a Kenya resident through a valid resident permit; EAC citizenship, African citizenship and residency are distinct categories. Bring evidence for the category claimed.
- The published exemptions include Kenyan citizens aged 70 and above and persons with disabilities. Confirm the evidence and applicability for your visit.
