Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds a shallow Rift Valley soda lake and protects important black and white rhino populations. Its compact circuit, wooded escarpments, rich birdlife and easy road access from Nairobi make it a high-value addition to longer journeys.

Game drives can combine rhino, buffalo, giraffe, lion and lakeshore birds within a single day, with Baboon Cliff opening broad views across the basin. The fenced sanctuary remains one of Kenya's most dependable rhino destinations.
