A good Kenya self-drive route is shaped around driving days, road surfaces, park gates, fuel, communication and where you will want help close at hand. Some days can be wonderfully simple: a scenic road, a lodge waiting, a late-afternoon drive. Others need more structure, especially in the north or where weather can change the road quickly.

We can design fully self-drive routes, guided routes that use the same wild country, or a hybrid: you drive the sections that feel rewarding and use guides where wildlife, terrain or local rules make that wiser. The flexibility is the beauty of the model.
