Olerai Lodge is a garden retreat in Mateves, Kisongo, positioned for an unhurried pause before or after a northern Tanzania safari. Its coffee-plantation setting, verandas and pool give guests a reason to linger beyond the minimum overnight. Arusha Airport is the nearer airport; journeys from Kilimanjaro International Airport need separate planning.

The restaurant combines African and contemporary influences, with the verandah and sundowner firepit creating informal places to gather.
