An intimate tented camp
A close-to-the-landscape feel, with room setup and comforts chosen around you.
THE SHARED JOURNEY / KENYA
Come for the safari. Make room for good company.

The idea behind the journey
A shared journey for people who enjoy good company as much as a great view. This small-group journey combines time in the Rift Valley with a few unrushed days in the Mara.
A shared journey built around mutual curiosity, not a fixed age rule.
Combine a Rift Valley chapter with time in the Mara.
Meals and time at camp are part of the experience too.

A route with room to breathe
Nairobi → Naivasha → Maasai Mara. Transfer arrangements and overnight locations are confirmed in your personal proposal.
Start point in the suggested route. Arrival and transfers to be confirmed.
The days, on your terms
Arrive in Nairobi and meet the group. Your final itinerary gives the meeting point and time. We confirm the group size, your guide and that the departure is running before you book.

Travel towards Naivasha and spend time getting to know your fellow travellers. Your final itinerary names the activities and where you stay.

Continue with your group to the safari chapter. Settle into camp and discuss the days ahead with the guide.

Share a day of guided exploration with time to relax between activities. Nobody can predict a wildlife encounter, which is part of the appeal.

Enjoy another full safari day. Build in time for the group to experience the place rather than rush between activities.
Return to Nairobi with your confirmed transport. A private extension or beach chapter can be discussed separately, without changing the group’s core route.
A suggested itinerary, not a confirmed operating schedule. Stays, timings, activities and meal arrangements may change as we tailor the trip.
A good place to return to
Ask us about sharing a twin room or having a room of your own, and tell us the style of stay you prefer. Your written quote names the actual camps or lodges.
Stay styles, not confirmed properties. Your proposal will name the accommodation, room type, inclusions and alternatives.
Make it yours
Select an idea to carry into your brief. Nothing is added to a booking or priced automatically.
Clear from the beginning
The route is the inspiration. Your quotation puts the actual stays, services, dates and costs in writing.
When to go
A Mara seasonal snapshot. Your route, camp location and interests matter as much as the calendar.
Jul / A popular wildlife window
The Mara’s main drier period makes this a popular time to plan wildlife-focused days. No month promises a migration crossing or a particular sighting.
A few things worth knowing
The details matter. Bring anything else into your planning conversation.
No. This is a suggested route that we tailor to your dates, interests, party and preferred pace. Nothing is booked until you accept a written quote.
Your written quote names the stays, room and meal arrangements, transfers, guiding, fees, optional activities, what is not included and how long the price is valid.
Yes. Describe your preferred atmosphere, room arrangements and practical needs. Nobu will confirm actual properties and alternatives in the proposal.
No. A month is only a planning preference. Availability must be checked before any booking is confirmed.
A different direction
Suggested routes. A starting point, never a fixed way to travel.
Nairobi → Maasai Mara
Stay a little longer. Look a little closer. A private journey into the Mara with space for slow mornings, time out on the plains and the luxury of not rushing the next moment.
Nairobi → Amboseli
A shorter escape with a big sense of place. Make time for elephant country, unhurried wildlife watching and evenings that feel very far from the everyday.
Maasai Mara → Diani
No need to choose between early-morning game drives and days with nothing on the agenda. Begin in the Mara, then trade the savannah for time by the Indian Ocean.
