A PLACE IN YOUR JOURNEY
A DIFFERENT OUTLOOK.
A PLACE TO PAUSE.
Wilderness Magashi Camp brings a lakeside safari setting to Rwanda’s Akagera National Park. Its private concession combines open country, woodland and wetland, with Lake Rwanyakazinga providing a different perspective on wildlife from the usual game-drive circuit. It is a separate camp from the newer Magashi Peninsula property.
A communal pool, dining and lounge areas, Wi-Fi and bookable massages support time in camp. Game drives, boating, birdwatching and catch-and-release fishing are described, with activities dependent on conditions and the guests’ suitability. Meals draw on Rwandan ingredients, and the operator presents a traditional dinner experience with stories and song.
For Nobu, Magashi suits travellers pairing Rwanda’s forest experiences with time in a savanna landscape. Leave room for both drives and a boat outing rather than treating it as a single-night transit.
