The stay
Wayo Serengeti Green Camp pairs mesh-fronted tents with crafted interiors and a seasonal northern or southern Serengeti setting. Ensuite bucket showers and low-flush toilets support a close-to-nature stay.
Wayo Serengeti Green Camp brings a distinctive design language to a seasonal safari. Its tent fronts open visually through broad mesh panels, while overhead canvas creates shade and privacy. Locally made furnishings, woven details and materials sourced from Tanzanian communities give the interiors character without competing with the surrounding plains.
The operator describes ten guest tents and two seasonal locations: the southern Kusini area and the northern Nyamalumbwa area. Ensuite bathrooms use low-flush toilets and bucket showers.
Game drives form part of offered packages, with a private guide and vehicle also available. Short walks can introduce guests to the landscape at a slower pace, while longer outings require specific arrangements and the appropriate guide and ranger support. Natural wildlife movements can never be promised.
