The stay
Wayo Little Green Camp brings an intimate style to a Serengeti safari. Six mesh-sided star tents, bucket showers and a shared camp setting keep the landscape close.
Its star tents use gauze sides and roofs, with privacy curtains and rain covers, creating an unusually direct relationship with the surrounding landscape. Attached bathrooms have bucket showers and composting toilets rather than the fittings of a permanent lodge.
The camp’s small scale lends itself to a close-knit safari party, and exclusive use is advertised. The suitable activity, route and pace should be agreed for the particular group, without assuming that every walk is included in a room booking.
