Twiga Safari Lodge faces the Nile from the Mubaako side of the Murchison Falls landscape. Its accommodation blends canvas with thatched, raised cottages, giving a tented feel while retaining private room comforts.

The current operator describes ten cottages and lists single, twin and triple arrangements. Older tour documents still mention eight tents, so the current operator count is retained with the difference noted. a triple label alone should not be used to promise a particular family layout.

A restaurant and bar overlook the river, with continental meals promoted by the lodge. Outings include boat trips, birdwatching and game drives, but permits, guiding and transport require their own arrangements. The operator’s FAQ says transport is not routinely provided and requests advance discussion when it is needed, which matters for travellers arriving without their own safari vehicle.
