The stay
ThornTree Camp is a fifteen-tent Seronera base with en-suite showers, screened sitting areas and two different family arrangements. Solar power supports a traditional safari stay.
ThornTree Camp keeps the focus on a classic central Serengeti tented stay. Its Seronera setting overlooks the wider Banagi Hill landscape, with the airstrip described as a short drive away. This is a useful year-round base for a safari route through the centre of the park, rather than a camp whose position moves with the migration.
Guest tents can be prepared with twin or queen beds, and each has an en-suite bathroom with a flushing toilet and hot shower. A screened sitting area provides space to pause between drives. The family tents differ: one has two bedrooms linked by a common area, while the other includes a separate bedroom intended for children.
Solar power and hot water support the camp’s everyday operation.
