The Ark is a distinctive lodge inside Aberdare National Park, designed around a waterhole and salt lick viewed from decks and lounges. It is separate from Aberdare Country Club, which lies outside the park and is commonly associated with the arrival arrangements.
It lists six singles, thirty-seven twins, ten doubles and seven triples, each with an ensuite shower and toilet. Double cabins have queen beds and triple cabins have three singles.
Viewing areas, a restaurant and a bar provide the core lodge experience. Wildlife is free-ranging, and no sighting is assured.
