The stay
Tarangire Safari Lodge combines river views with thatched safari tents, circular bungalows and a River Suite inside the national park. Verandas, ensuite showers and solar power support a stay, while the pool and dining encourage a pause.
Tarangire Safari Lodge is a family-managed base inside Tarangire National Park, known for its elevated outlook towards the river and surrounding landscape. The setting encourages time on a veranda or the shared terrace, making the lodge itself part of the day rather than simply a place to return after a drive.
All have ensuite facilities, solar-heated showers and access to electricity around the clock. A separately described Patulivu River Suite adds a more secluded tented option, with an elevated river-facing veranda, fan, fridge and bathroom.
Open-air dining, a lounge and bar, a swimming pool and a children’s splash pool form the shared facilities. The Baobab Boutique stocks locally made crafts, and Wi-Fi is advertised in the lounge area with a warning that speeds can be limited.
