The stay
Tanzanice Farm Lodge is a seven-room Karatu farm stay with gardens, home-cooked meals and a pool. Deluxe rooms add terraces, while the main house can suit a small group. this is a gateway base outside the Ngorongoro conservation area.
Tanzanice Farm Lodge offers a small-scale stay in Karatu’s farming landscape, away from the crater rim. Gardens, fruit trees and a working vegetable plot shape the atmosphere, making it a gentle place to pause before or after a conservation-area visit.
Room choices are deliberately straightforward. Two Deluxe rooms sit in a separate building, each with a queen and single bed, a private bathroom and a terrace. The main house contains Standard doubles and Twin rooms, alongside shared sitting and dining spaces.
Home cooking is part of the appeal. The kitchen uses produce grown on the farm and prepares vegetarian as well as other meals. Guests can spend time in the gardens or around the pool, while the main house provides Wi-Fi. It is a farm-lodge experience rather than a resort with an extensive programme of facilities.
For Nobu, Tanzanice suits couples, families and small groups who value a quieter, informal base.
