The stay
Ten raised tents, private verandas and indoor and outdoor showers define Tamu Tamu’s central Serengeti camp. Solar power, WiFi and a shared firepit add convenience.
Tamu Tamu’s central Serengeti camp combines raised canvas accommodation with a relaxed shared lounge and a firepit for the end of the day. the newer Kogatende branch belongs to a different part of an itinerary.
Double, twin, single and family arrangements are marketed, with private verandas, double washbasins and both indoor and outdoor showers. Solar electricity and hot water support the camp’s daily routine, while WiFi, laundry and a small shop add convenience.
Nobu would consider Tamu Tamu for guests who want a comfortable canvas base with room to slow down between drives. Its appeal is the combination of a small scale and thoughtful bathroom facilities, rather than a long list of resort amenities.
