A PLACE IN YOUR JOURNEY
Singita Kwitonda Lodge is a planted, garden-linked base on the edge of Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. Stone, clay and timber connect its suites to the surrounding volcanic landscape, while private heated plunge pools and fireplaces make the return from a cool or rainy trek particularly appealing.
The lodge offers a dining programme, wine cellar, nursery and kitchen garden, conservation lounge and equipment room for trekking. Wellness treatments are arranged in the suites. Accommodation packages describe meals, drinks, laundry and Wi-Fi, with levies, trekking permits, transfers and wellness treatments requiring separate attention.
For Nobu, Kwitonda suits travellers who want a comfortable, carefully organised base with time to enjoy the property as well as the park. Children of all ages can stay, and childminding is available, but trekking eligibility has separate age conditions. The operator requires a driver-guide and vehicle throughout the stay and discourages park activities on departure day.
