The stay
Severin offers tents, suites, a pool, spa and fitness facilities inside Tsavo West. Self-catering Kitani Bandas are separate, with a vehicle required to reach main-camp facilities.
Severin Safari Camp is an unfenced safari base in the Kitani area of Tsavo West National Park. Tents and suites look into the surrounding bush, while a swimming pool, spa and fitness tent offer alternatives to a day spent entirely in the vehicle. Guests should follow the camp’s wildlife and escort arrangements, particularly after dark.
Junior Suites add a lounge and courtyard shower, with space for two adults and two children. The Kibo and Mawenzi Executive Suites have a raised viewing deck and a corner bath; an adjoining Luxury Tent can be booked separately for a larger party.
The self-catering Kitani Bandas are a different proposition. They have kitchenettes and private bathrooms, but lie about one and a half kilometres from the main camp. The operator explicitly requires a vehicle between the two areas; it is not a walking route. Banda guests may use the main pool and gym, with some other services charged separately.
For Nobu, Severin suits travellers wanting in-park accommodation with wellness facilities and a clear choice between catered and self-catering stays.
