The stay
Segera combines garden villas, private homes, contemporary African art and a saltwater pool in a private Laikipia conservancy.
Segera Retreat brings together a private wildlife landscape, contemporary African art and a garden-centred villa collection in Laikipia. The setting encourages more than a sequence of game drives: guests can spend time with the art collection, explore the gardens or settle beside the central saltwater pool before heading out with their guide.
The accommodation range includes a larger Family Garden Villa, Garden House, Segera House, Villa Segera, Farmhouse and Greenhouse. Bedroom and bathroom arrangements differ significantly: the Farmhouse has four bedrooms with three bathrooms, while the four-bedroom Segera House has en-suite bathrooms. Exact allocation matters more than the broad villa label.
The Nay Palad Bird Nest is an optional sleep-out experience with its own pricing questions, not an ordinary room to add to the villa count.
For Nobu, Segera suits couples, art-minded travellers and private family groups seeking a varied conservancy stay. Children are welcome, but several larger homes have minimum adult requirements that affect pricing.
