The stay
A northern Serengeti camp near the Mara River, with tented accommodation, pool and spa. Family tents and two-bedroom Retreats give different ways to stay together.
Sayari Camp provides a northern Serengeti base close to the Mara River, with tented accommodation and a pool overlooking the surrounding landscape. Its operating season runs from June through March, giving travellers different ways to experience the region as wildlife movements and visitor numbers change. River crossings are a possibility in season, never an event that a particular stay can guarantee.
The main camp lists fifteen tents, including two family tents and a honeymoon option. Bedrooms open towards the outdoors, and the bathing facilities include plumbed showers, baths and outdoor showers. A spa adds another way to spend the hours between guided activities.
For a more private arrangement, two Retreats each offer two bedrooms, living and dining spaces, a chef, host, guide and vehicle. A separate pool and lounge are shared by Retreat guests, with access to the main camp’s facilities as well.
Kogatende airstrip is approximately twenty minutes away. Children are welcomed from five years old.
