Satao Camp is a tented stay inside Tsavo East National Park, arranged around a waterhole beneath tamarind trees. Private verandas and shared dining spaces make it possible to enjoy the surroundings between game drives, while the canvas accommodation keeps the stay connected to the landscape. The camp is owned by Southern Cross Safaris.
All are en suite, with the larger Suites positioned closer to the waterhole. Those details should be agreed for the actual booking.
Meals move between outdoor lunches and the main restaurant, with a campfire providing an evening gathering point. We would consider Satao for couples or families who enjoy tented surroundings and a camp-centred safari rhythm.
