Saruni Mara combines five cottages, a family villa and a private villa in Mara North Conservancy. Thatched roofs, fireplaces, a spa and valley views create a lodge-style safari stay.
Saruni Mara is a cottage-based lodge in a wooded valley of Mara North Conservancy. Refurbished interiors sit beneath thatched roofs, with broad views across the hills and savannah. The accommodation range is more varied than a single row of tents: five cottages sit alongside a family villa and a separate private villa.
The family villa combines two en-suite bedrooms with a central lounge and fireplace. The private villa has a similar two-bedroom arrangement and is presented as an exclusive-use wilderness home a short distance from the main lodge.
The main lounge, dining area and spa provide the shared facilities.
For Nobu, Saruni Mara suits couples and families who prefer a characterful cottage or villa to an entirely canvas camp. The conservancy setting supports a range of safari experiences without requiring every outing to begin at a reserve gate.
