Sandies Nungwi Beach places an all-inclusive resort stay alongside the beach life of northern Zanzibar. With 125 rooms and suites, it offers a useful balance of time on the sand, organised activities and places to sit over a drink. The in-house diving centre gives underwater days a natural starting point, while the spa offers a slower alternative.
Rooms are arranged across three main categories. Deluxe Rooms provide a garden-view base; Junior Suites add space for families, and the larger Suites have a separate living area and balcony. An infinity pool, gym and games add things to do between excursions.
Boma is the everyday dining anchor, with buffets and themed evenings. For a different setting, Azul takes dining to a rooftop terrace, with European, Asian and local influences. Poolside and rooftop bars extend the day into the evening.
