Rwakobo Rock is a family-run lodge on a granite outcrop at the edge of Lake Mburo National Park. Cottages and rooms are spread around the rocky setting, with a shared pool looking across the ranchlands and park landscape. The main lodge provides a restaurant, bar and places to relax, while a campfire is arranged when weather allows.
Cottages use solar power and harvested rainwater for everyday services, including lighting and hot showers. Hornbill House rooms have their own bathrooms and verandas.
We would consider Rwakobo for travellers who enjoy a rocky landscape, outdoor sitting spaces and a serviced base near the park. Meals range from set menus to buffet-style dinners, with early breakfasts or packed lunches arranged where possible. Charging points and basic Wi-Fi are available in the main lodge.
