Roika Tarangire Tented Lodge offers a settled safari base on the riverbanks outside the national park, around five kilometres from its main entrance. The lodge combines canvas accommodation with a pool, shared dining and a games room, making it a practical option for travellers who want several ways to spend the quieter hours between outings.
Twenty-four ensuite tents are advertised, each with a private veranda. The swimming pool has a poolside bar, and the games room offers pool, darts, cards and chess. These facilities give the stay a more social, lodge-like feel than a minimal mobile camp.
