Rhino River Camp occupies private forest beside Meru National Park, with raised canvas-and-timber rooms arranged along the seasonal Kindani River and among the trees. It offers a different atmosphere from an open-plains camp: shaded decks, dense vegetation and a swimming pool become part of the stay between park excursions.
The current operator describes five riverside rooms and two forest rooms. Two family configurations are also documented, including a suite with a separate sitting room and a pair of adjacent tents linked by a veranda. The river is seasonal, so flowing water should not be promised.
Nobu would consider Rhino River for guests who value a quieter forest setting, a pool and varied family layouts. Shared game drives explore Meru National Park, while nature paths within the private camp grounds offer a separate, slower activity.
