The stay
Rekero offers nine tented suites beside the Talek River, including two family arrangements. Verandas and lounge and dining decks place the riverside setting at the centre of the stay.
Rekero Camp offers a small Asilia tented base beside the Talek River in the Masai Mara. Trees shelter the accommodation, while lounge and dining decks orient shared time towards the river. The atmosphere is designed around safari days and returning to a familiar camp rather than an extensive resort programme.
Meals are prepared at camp, with outdoor lunches and a three-course dinner format described. The operator closes the camp during April and May and gives a five-and-older family policy, although FAQ wording says over five.
