The stay
Porini Amboseli has nine guest tents and one family tent in Selenkay Conservancy, with communal dining and guided safari activities. It sits outside the national park.
Porini Amboseli Camp is set in Selenkay Conservancy, a private wildlife area north of Amboseli National Park. Staying here combines conservancy drives and guided walks with an arranged day in the national park. The camp’s small scale, communal dining and canvas accommodation give the experience a traditional safari character.
King or twin beds, writing desks, private verandas and charging points sit alongside en-suite flushing toilets and safari showers.
A central dining tent and lounge provide shared space, with Wi-Fi in public areas. The programme can include night drives, sundowners, guided nature walks and locally hosted village visits. Private vehicles are an additional arrangement rather than an automatic inclusion.
For Nobu, Porini suits couples and families with older children who prefer a small conservancy camp.
