Original Maasai Lodge offers village-style bungalows, cultural activities and a pool between Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania’s Arusha Region.

Sixteen traditionally built bungalows are arranged in a village-style layout, with solar power, en-suite facilities, hot showers and private terraces.
A pool, sauna and massage spaces overlook the surrounding landscape. Guided walks, storytelling and locally hosted cultural activities shape the stay; longer visits have additional advertised experiences. Families have access to a games room, with cots, high chairs and optional childcare available by arrangement. National-park safaris are organised separately from the lodge’s cultural programme.
For Nobu, this is a thoughtful option for travellers who want time near Arusha beyond a conventional safari circuit. Africa Amini states that revenue supports its local social, medical and educational projects.
