The stay
Ololo combines farm-led dining and shared Nairobi National Park drives with stable rooms, tented cottages and family accommodation beside the Mbagathi River. Compare layouts carefully, particularly the mezzanine Family Wing.
Ololo brings a farm-and-safari rhythm to the southern edge of Nairobi National Park. Beside the Mbagathi River, the family-owned lodge combines converted stable rooms, garden cottages and more individual main-house suites, giving guests several ways to make a short city stop feel connected to the landscape.
The room choice matters. Queen and twin stable rooms suit straightforward two-person stays, while the Family Wing has a mezzanine king bedroom and a triple room. The larger Stable Cottage offers three bedrooms and shared living space. For couples, the Tower Suite adds a private rooftop terrace; the ground-floor Terrace Suite opens towards the gardens.
The international safari package combines farm-led meals, selected house drinks, transfers and two shared park drives daily, with a pool and bush sauna for quieter hours. Park entry and the community conservation contribution are additional. Nobu would consider Ololo for a considered beginning or end to a Kenyan safari, particularly when guests value activities over a conventional airport hotel.
