Oasis Blu is an adults-only retreat on Nungwi’s eastern side, with a small collection of ocean-facing accommodation and private pools. The setting gives a northern Zanzibar stay a more contained rhythm: breakfast, a swim and time watching the water can occupy much of the day, with the busier parts of Nungwi reached separately.
A shared infinity pool provides another place to settle, while Sandbar Restaurant serves local and international food. The coast changes with the tide, revealing sandbanks and a different landscape through the day. Beach swimming should therefore be planned around local conditions rather than sold as continuously available.
