THE NOBU VIEW
The stay
A ridge-top lodge in southern Bwindi, with stone cottages, forest suites and interconnected family villas. Fireplaces and inclusive dining suit cool evenings after trekking. Stairs and steep terrain require individual access planning before this stay is booked.
Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge sits on Nteko Ridge above southern Bwindi, close to the Nkuringo gorilla-trekking briefing point. Forest and mountain views, stone cottages and fireplaces give the lodge a highland character, with warm indoor spaces for returning from an early start or a day on the trails. The current operator is Nkuringo Eco Collection.
General child and triple-allocation wording differs from the two-guest limit stated for the other categories, so the exact party must be agreed in advance.
Gorilla permits, vehicle transfers and several activities remain additional. We would consider Nkuringo for travellers prioritising southern Bwindi access and a comfortable ridge-top base. The grounds involve stairs and slopes; discuss specific mobility needs rather than assuming easy access.
