The stay

Ngorongoro Wild Camp combines tents and cottages in the southern conservation area, with verandas, solar-powered comforts, a restaurant and bar. Keep it distinct from the group’s Safari Lodge and the former Wildlife Lodge.

Ngorongoro Wild Camp is a permanent camp in the southern part of the conservation area, combining raised tented accommodation with a small number of cottages. The operator describes twenty tents and six cottages, each intended for two guests in the current overview. Its character is closer to a settled camp than a temporary migration stop.

Private verandas, reading tables and ensuite showers and toilets provide the core room comforts. Solar power supplies lighting and hot water, while the communal facilities include a restaurant, an African-themed bar and a campfire. Bush meals and sundowners can be arranged, giving guests alternatives to eating in the main dining area. Current bed layouts and the difference between the cottages and tents need a specific room sheet.

It is also important to keep this camp distinct from Ngorongoro Safari Lodge in the same group and the former Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
