Ngorongoro Crater Camp has entered a new chapter under A&K Sanctuary, with a relocated hillside setting and a complete redesign. This change matters: older descriptions of the forested site no longer identify the current guest experience.
Ten newly built tented suites form the accommodation. Hardwood floors, muslin-draped king beds, generous private bathrooms and viewing decks create a calm, more contemporary interpretation of a safari camp. The interiors use work from East African designers and craftspeople, with muted colours and natural textures intended to sit comfortably within the landscape.
For Nobu, this is a small, design-led option for couples or friends who value an intimate camp atmosphere.
