The stay
A southern Serengeti ecosystem lodge overlooking a rocky river gorge, with ten tented suites, private decks and a shared infinity pool. Private guiding shapes each stay, while interconnecting suites suit families.
Mwiba Lodge sits above a rocky river gorge in the Greater Mwiba Protected Wildlife Area, on the southern edge of the Serengeti ecosystem. This is a private-area safari setting rather than a lodge inside Serengeti National Park. Ten tented suites open onto individual decks, giving the stay a close connection to the surrounding woodland and boulders.
Inside, king or twin beds, a separate sitting space and air-conditioning provide comfort between outings. Bathrooms have deep bathtubs and indoor and outdoor showers. The shared infinity pool, Jacuzzi, gym and library offer different ways to spend a quieter afternoon, with spa treatments available separately.
Children from four are welcomed, while whole-lodge exclusive use allows a different age arrangement.
