Meliá Serengeti Lodge sits in the Nyamuma Hills, with an expansive outlook over the Mbalageti River Valley and the surrounding national park. Its appeal is the combination of a safari setting with the comforts of a full-service hotel: an infinity pool, gym, spa and several dining spaces make the time between outings part of the stay.

The accommodation range moves from Lagoon View and Savannah Panoramic rooms to Junior Suites and one- or two-bedroom suites. The operator also markets Safari Experience versions of these categories; these are package choices layered onto the same physical room types.

Nobu would consider the lodge for guests who want a broad plains outlook and reliable places to relax after a drive. Package selection matters: the Safari Experience describes shared outings, Seronera transfers, meals and selected drinks, while a base room does not automatically include those elements.
