Mawe Tented Camp is a ten-tent, year-round base in the central-eastern Serengeti, with double, twin, triple and family arrangements. Full-board meals and a campfire support a traditional safari stay.
Mawe Tented Camp is a year-round base in the central-eastern Serengeti, near the Ngarenanyuki River at Soit Le Motonyi. Its appeal is a fixed position within a wildlife-rich landscape rather than a move designed around a single migration moment. Guests should still expect sightings to vary with weather, season and the day’s conditions.
The current camp has ten tents: five double or twin units, two triples and three family tents. Doubles and twins take two guests; triples take three. Canvas walls, mosquito nets, hot showers and solar-powered lighting preserve a traditional safari atmosphere, while charging points and Wi-Fi in the main areas provide practical connections.
Meals are full board, with lunch at camp or a packed option for longer drives. Bar drinks cost extra.
