Hilltop lodge in the Mara Triangle, overlooking the plains and Mara River area; operator lists Nairobi 310 km/about seven hours and local airstrip 2 km.
A PLACE IN YOUR JOURNEY
Mara Serena Safari Lodge stands on a hill in the Mara Triangle, with permanent rooms, broad views and a wider range of shared facilities than a small tented camp. The lodge overlooks the plains and river landscape, making the balcony and pool useful places to spend the quieter hours between drives.
Standard king and twin categories have private balconies, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and ensuite showers. The suite adds separate living space and a bath.
A heated pool, gym and Maisha Spa give the stay a more conventional lodge rhythm. Meals are served in the restaurant, with picnics and special bush dining available by arrangement. Nobu would consider Mara Serena for guests who prefer solid-walled accommodation and several ways to relax after safari.
