Mara Major is a six-tent camp in the Talek area with a strong photographic-safari focus. The operator describes a refurbishment in twenty-twenty-four and a setting spread across eight hectares. Its small scale and individually named tents make it a plausible choice for photographers, couples or a private group that prefers a flexible daily routine.
Five regular tents offer twin or queen beds for two guests. The sixth, Luluka, is marketed as a family suite, but its description also says it accommodates two. Solar power, solar-heated water and Starlink Wi-Fi are among the practical comforts.
SABA Restaurant serves the camp’s meals, with picnic breakfasts and lunches available on safari.
