The stay
Little Chem Chem pairs six tented accommodation units with a pool, gym and spa in wildlife-rich Burunge. A private guide supports flexible safari days.
Little Chem Chem is a small canvas camp on the eastern side of the Burunge wildlife-management area, with views towards Lake Burunge and the Babati mountains. Its position in a wildlife-rich landscape gives it a different emphasis from Chem Chem Lodge on the Manyara side. Both belong to Auberge Safari, but they remain distinct places to stay.
Five vintage-style guest tents and one family tent make up the camp.
A raised pool, gym and spa offer alternatives to time in the vehicle. Meals can unfold outdoors, with the Ponya dining option alongside the broader menu.
For Nobu, Little Chem Chem suits couples and families with older children who want an intimate camp and unhurried wildlife viewing. The normal minimum age is eight; younger children require exclusive use.
