Lion King Bush Camp is a small tented stay on the Ewaso Nyiro River inside Samburu National Reserve. Its six tents are spread through the bush, with the river and the open dining area providing the main focus. The appeal is a simple safari rhythm rather than an extensive resort-style collection of facilities.
Each tent has double beds, an outdoor sitting area and an en-suite shower and toilet.
Meals are served in the open-sided dining area, around the campfire or at an individually arranged table. Full board includes three daily home-cooked meals and early tea or coffee, while half-board covers breakfast and dinner. Packed lunches can be arranged for time out in the reserve. Exclusive camp hire is also considered on self-catered, partly catered or fully catered terms.
For Nobu, Lion King is an option for independent travellers or a small group seeking a more straightforward, close-to-the-bush camp.
