Lewa Wilderness is the original lodge in the operator’s small collection, set around gardens above Lewa’s Eastern Marania Valley. It retains a ranch-house atmosphere, with shared meals, a sitting room and a library balanced by cottages that offer more private places to retreat after an outing.
Garden Cottages have two en-suite bedrooms joined by a sitting area and fireplace.
A saltwater infinity pool, gym, yoga deck, tennis court and table tennis offer alternatives to safari activities. Produce from the lodge’s farm and gardens features in the meals, with private dining and dietary requests arranged in advance. Wi-Fi is available around the main veranda.
For Nobu, Lewa Wilderness suits couples and families looking for a sociable lodge with varied activities and room to pause. All ages are welcomed at this original property. The operator’s separate Private Wilderness has different exclusive-use and age rules, while Walking Wild is a mobile walking safari.
