THE NOBU VIEW
The stay
Kyambura Gorge Lodge offers eight Standard and Deluxe bandas above the gorge, with balconies, indoor and outdoor showers, a pool and butler service. Full-board stays include selected premium drinks and laundry.
Kyambura Gorge Lodge looks across the savanna and the steep wooded gorge from a former coffee-store site. The small Volcanoes Safaris property is particularly well suited to an itinerary that combines chimpanzee trekking with the wider Queen Elizabeth National Park landscape, rather than trying to fit every experience into a single overnight stop.
Eight guest bandas are divided equally between Standard and Deluxe categories. Fans are supplied rather than air-conditioning.
A pool, butler service and massage rooms offer downtime between outings. Full-board accommodation includes a broad drinks selection and laundry. Conservation activities and specialist presentations have different arrangements, so they should be itemised alongside park excursions and permits.
For Nobu, Kyambura suits couples and wildlife-focused travellers who value a small, highly serviced base with a strong sense of place. Children are welcome at the lodge, but childcare is not provided and chimpanzee trekking has a separate age restriction.
