Julia’s River Camp sits on the Talek River inside the reserve, with Classic, Classic Superior and four VIP tents grouped around separate mess areas.
Julia’s River Camp follows the Talek River inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Its accommodation is organised into three small sections, each with a different room specification and dining arrangement: Hippo’s Classic tents, Buffalo’s Classic Superior tents and a more secluded four-tent VIP area. Choosing between them is as much about space and shared areas as the name.
All have elevated verandas, ensuite hot showers and flush toilets, solar lighting and sewn-in mosquito nets.
Full board includes meals, mineral water, tea and coffee. The game package adds two daily drives or a full-day outing with a picnic, while private vehicle use costs extra. Nobu would consider Julia’s for guests who want an inside-reserve canvas stay with a clear choice of service levels.
