Instinct of the Mara sits on a wooded hillside in Olderkesi Conservancy, in the southeastern part of the Mara ecosystem. Its nine accommodation units are spread between seven Premium Safari Tents, a Forest Suite and a Private Villa. The setting lends itself to a stay shaped around the conservancy and time at camp rather than a crowded daily programme.
Premium tents have double or twin beds, ensuite showers and private verandas. The Forest Suite adds two bedrooms, a living room and an outdoor bathtub beside its deck. The Private Villa is the option for a plunge pool, with two ensuite bedrooms and generous shared living and dining space. Those differences matter when comparing categories: the pool is not a camp-wide room feature.
The operator promotes flexible meal and activity times, with an exclusive vehicle per booking. WiFi is confined to the mess tent, where the bar and lounges form the social centre. Nobu would consider Instinct for guests who value a personal safari pace and families needing more than one bedroom.
