Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge offers en-suite cottages and forest-facing balconies near Rushaga.
Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge offers a Rushaga base with balconies looking towards Bwindi and the cultivated hills around it. It is a separate property from Ichumbi’s town hotel in Kisoro.
The accommodation menu includes single, double or twin, family and triple cottages. En-suite bathrooms, hot water and outdoor sitting space are useful comforts after a day on forest trails.
A restaurant, Wi-Fi, parking and backup power form the practical facilities. Transfers and permits are separate itinerary components.
For Nobu, Ichumbi suits couples or friends who want a focused southern Bwindi base rather than a resort programme. No pool or spa has been borrowed from the separate Kisoro property.
