The stay
Twenty oceanfront and garden bandas give Hakuna Majiwe a relaxed Paje beach setting, with four-poster beds, verandas and swings. Tradewinds dining, a pool and spa add comfort between outings.
Hakuna Majiwe is a smaller beach retreat at Paje, with twenty bandas divided between oceanfront positions and tropical gardens. Thatched roofs, four-poster beds and verandas with swings give the accommodation a relaxed coastal character. For travellers moving on from a safari, the appeal is a change of pace built around the beach, a pool and time outside the room.
The current room list distinguishes Deluxe and Standard Beach Bandas, Family Beach Bandas and Garden Bandas. Garden Bandas sit in the second row and are described for two.
Tradewinds serves food shaped by Swahili-Zanzibari ingredients, with private beach or poolside dining available by arrangement. A spa and excursions provide additional options beyond unhurried beach time.
