Gorilla Valley Lodge offers en-suite Deluxe Rooms with forest-facing verandas near Rushaga. Permits, activities, drinks and transfers are extra.
Gorilla Valley Lodge faces the rainforest around Bwindi’s Rushaga area, with en-suite rooms and verandas that make the forest part of the stay. It is a straightforward trekking base rather than a large resort: the useful comforts are a hot shower, somewhere to sit outside and meals arranged around the day’s plans.
The current operator identifies one accommodation category, the Deluxe Room, with twin or double beds.
Half board includes breakfast and dinner; full board adds lunch.
For Nobu, Gorilla Valley is a practical choice for couples or friends prioritising a forest-facing base and transparent room-and-meal pricing. Children are welcomed by the lodge, although their accommodation rules are distinct from trekking eligibility.
