The stay
Embalakai Serengeti offers thirteen configurable en-suite tents above the Nyabogati River, with solar power, private decks and communal dining. Keep it separate from Embalakai Ngorongoro.
Embalakai’s Serengeti camp occupies a Banagi-area setting above the Nyabogati River, with a communal tent looking towards the surrounding hills. It is a separate property from the group’s Ngorongoro camp, despite some booking sites grouping accommodation under an Arusha address.
Each has its own solar system for lighting, charging and hot water, plus a private shower and toilet. An outdoor platform with seating extends the room into the landscape, while a radio system connects guests with the camp team.
Breakfast and evening meals are served in the main tent, with the deck and firepit providing places to pause after a drive.
For Nobu, Embalakai suits travellers seeking a sociable central Serengeti camp.
